​​We recommend reserving your session during pregnancy, before your baby arrives.We will make a tentative reservation based on your due date and confirm the final session date after your baby is born.If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, we will adjust the timing while considering both your recovery and your baby’s condition.

Q. What age is best for a newborn session?

We recommend photographing your baby from birth to around 3 weeks of age.During this brief stage, babies still have the softness and delicate features unique to newborns.Depending on availability, we may also be able to accept bookings after your baby is born, so please feel free to contact us anytime.

Q. How long does the session take?

Sessions usually last around 1 to 2 hours.We take our time and gently follow your baby’s natural rhythm throughout the session.

We have a small selection of simple, natural outfits, fabrics, and props available.Rather than creating elaborate setups, our sessions keep the focus on your baby’s natural presence and the quiet beauty of this fleeting stage.If there is something special you would like to bring, you are very welcome to discuss it with us.

Q. Is it okay if my baby cries during the session?

Of course.We gently follow your baby’s pace throughout the session, taking breaks whenever needed for feeding, diaper changes, or comforting.There is no need to rush. Even those small moments are part of this precious time with your baby.

Q. Can I be photographed with my baby?

Yes, absolutely.The first days of life together are precious memories for you as a mother, too.We would be happy to photograph the quiet connection between you and your baby.

Q. Can siblings join the session as well?

Yes, siblings are very welcome to join.Welcoming a new baby and becoming an older brother or sister is a precious moment in a child’s life, too.We photograph gently and at each child’s pace, allowing time for them to feel comfortable.

Q. I am planning a cesarean birth. Can I still have a session?

Absolutely.Every mother’s recovery is different, so we will discuss the timing with you and arrange the session when you feel comfortable.The well-being of both you and your baby will always come first.

Q. Do you offer in-home sessions?

Accepted Answer

Yes.In addition to studio sessions, we also offer newborn photography in the comfort of your home.During the delicate days after birth, going out with a newborn can sometimes feel overwhelming. An in-home session allows you to relax in familiar surroundings while we gently preserve both your baby and the quiet atmosphere of your everyday life together.An additional session and travel fee applies to in-home photography.Travel Fee / In-home session fee: ¥2,000Travel fee from our studio in Chuo-ku, Kumamoto CityUp to 10 km: Free10–15 km: ¥1,00015–20 km: ¥2,00020–30 km: ¥3,00030–50 km: ¥4,000For locations beyond 50 km, please contact us in advance.Expressway tolls and parking fees, when required, will be charged separately.

Yes. Weekend and public holiday sessions are available for an additional fee of ¥5,000.As we allow plenty of time for each session, only a limited number of bookings are available each day.If you prefer a weekend or public holiday, we recommend contacting us as early as possible.

Q. About safety during the session

Accepted Answer

Your baby’s safety and comfort are always our highest priority.We photograph gently and never force a pose or movement that may cause discomfort. During the session, we kindly ask parents or guardians to remain nearby and attentive to their child.We appreciate your cooperation in creating a calm and safe environment for everyone.In the unlikely event that a session or delivery cannot be completed due to equipment trouble, illness, transportation issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will arrange a new session date or provide a full refund of the amount paid.
